The beginning

Wellington and Safiya met each other online at the end of the first year of the pandemic. In 2020 fashion, their first date was outdoors, at a ramen restaurant in Shaw. They quickly became inseparable over the next year. Safiya picked up Wellington’s hobbies of rock climbing and skiing, and found both to be so much fun. They lived in D.C. while adventuring around the U.S., until they decided to start a life together in Honolulu in the summer of 2024. 

These days, you can still find them dining at ramen restaurants in Honolulu.
